ORDER

The President is pleased to appoint Mr. Justice Ajit Bharihoke, retired Judge of the Delhi High Court as President of the Customs, Excise & Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (CESTAT), New Delhi with effect from the date he takes over charge for a period till he attains the age of 65 years.

2. In terms of the Customs, Excise & Service Tax Appellate Tribunal Members (Recruitment & Conditions of Service) Rules, 1987, Mr. Justice Ajit Bharihoke shall be paid such salary, which together with his pension and pension equivalent of any other form of retirement benefits, shall not exceed the last pay drawn by him before retirement. He shall be entitled to such allowances and other benefits as are admissible to a serving Judge of a High Court and his conditions of service will be the same as are applicable to service Judge of a High Court under the High Court Judge (Conditions of Service) Act, 1954 and the rules framed under that Act.
