ACC approves appointment, repatriation of officers, Dilip Sharma, IRS, posted as DG, Election Commission

NEW DELHI, AUG 23, 2016: THE Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following appointments/premature repatriation:

(1) Mr Arun Singhal, IAS (UP:1987) as Joint Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare from the date of assumption of the charge of the post for a period of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Mr K.C. Samaria, IAS (AM:1993);

(2) Mr Nikunja Kishore Sundaray, IAS (OR:1987) as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises from the date of assumption of the charge of the post for a period of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, by upgrading one post of Joint Development Commissioner (JDC) vice Mr Ramesh Pandey in the O/o Development Commissioner (MSME) in the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises to JS level;

(3) Ms. Dharitri Panda, I Civil AS (1987) as Additional FA & Joint Secretary, Ministry of Defence (Finance) on lateral shift basis, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for the balance period of her overall five year central deputation tenure upto 06.11.2019 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Mr Rajnish Kumar, IDAS (1984);

(4) Mr Aramane Giridhar, IAS (AP:1988) as Joint Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat from the date of assumption of the charge of the post for a period of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Mr Alok Tandon, IAS (UP 1986);

(5) Mr VG Reddy, IRSEE (1985) as DDG, UIDAI under Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology on lateral shift basis, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for the balance period of his overall five year central deputation tenure upto 10.06.2020 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Mr Alok Chaturvedi, IDAS (1985);

(6) Mr Dinesh Bist, IPS (BH:1987), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Minority Affairs is repatriated to his parent cadre with immediate effect;

(7) Mr Ali Raza Rizvi, IAS (HP:1988) as Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce on lateral shift basis, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for the balance period of his overall five year central deputation tenure upto 30.09.2019 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Mr Ravi Capoor, IAS (AM:1986);

(8) Mr Rajit Punhani, IAS (BH:1991) as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Labour & Employment on lateral shift basis, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for the balance period of his overall five year central deputation tenure upto 07.10.2019 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Mr Dheeraj Kumar, IAS (TN:1993);

(9) Mr R.K. Sinha, IDAS (1991) as Additional Secretary (JS level), UPSC under Department of Personnel & Training from the date of assumption of the charge of the post for a period of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Mr R.K. Arora, IDAS (1990);

(10) Mr Dilip Sharma, IRS (IT: 1992) as Director General, Election Commission of India from the date of assumption of the charge of the post for a period of three years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, by converting one CSS post vice Mr P.K. Dash, IRS (IT 1982) to a Non-CSS post under usual terms and conditions as per extant policy;

(11) Mr K.C. Samaria, IAS (AM:1993) as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Minority Affairs on lateral shift basis, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post for the balance period of his overall five year central deputation tenure upto 27.04.2019 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Mr Dinesh Bist, IPS (BH:1987);

(12) Mr Sanjay Kumar, IAS (TG: 1995) as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation from the date of assumption of the charge of the post for a period of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Mr BK Agarwal, IAS (HP:1985);

(13) Mr Lav Agarwal, IAS (AP:1996) as Joint Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare from the date of assumption of the charge of the post for a period of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Mr Anshu Prakash, IAS (UT:1986);

(14) Ms Rakhee Gupta Bhandari, IAS (PB:1997) as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Minority Affairs on lateral shift basis, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for the balance period of her combined seven year central deputation tenure upto 30.04.2017 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Mr Rakesh Mohan, IA&AS (1987);

(15) Mr Suresh Kumar Vashist, IAS (OR:1998) as Joint Secretary, Department of Food & Public Distribution from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for the balance period of his overall five year central deputation tenure upto 16.09.2019 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Mr UKS Chauhan, IAS (KL:1986);

(16) Mr V Sheshadri, IAS (TG:1999) as Joint Secretary, Prime Minister's Office from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for the balance period of his overall five year central deputation tenure upto 21.08.2018 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, by transferring one vacant post of Joint Secretary from Department of Atomic Energy vice Ms. Nisha Singh, IAS (HP:1987) to Prime Minister's Office;

(17) Mr B Navnit, IAS (TN:1999) as Joint Secretary, Prime Minister's Office from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for the balance period of his overall five year central deputation tenure upto 02.07.2019 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, by upgrading the post of Director held by him to Joint Secretary level for a period of two years;

(18) Mr Syed Ali Murtaza Rizvi, IAS (TG: 1999) as Joint Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for the balance period of his overall five year central deputation tenure upto 19.08.2019 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Mr Alok Vardhan Chaturvedi, IAS (BH:1986);

(19) Mr Sudhir Kumar, IAS (AGMUT: 1999) as Joint Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for the balance period of his overall five year central deputation tenure upto 16.03.2020 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Ms. Dharitri Panda, I Civil AS (1987);

(20) Mr Ashish Chatterjee, IAS (TN:1999) as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for the balance period of his overall five year central deputation tenure upto 15.04.2019 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, by upgrading one vacant post of Deputy Secretary/Director vice Mr Prashant Lokhande, IAS (AGMUT:2001) to JS level for a period of two years;

(21) Ms Anshu Sinha, IAS (MH:1999) as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for the balance period of her overall five year central deputation tenure upto 29.01.2017 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Ms. R. Jaya, IAS (TN:1995);

(22) Mr E. Ramseh Kumar, IAS (MP:1999) as Joint Secretary, Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fisheries from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for the balance period of his overall five year central deputation tenure upto 02.06.2019 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Mr Sanjay Bhoosreddy, IAS (UP 1989);

(23) Mr Navdeep Rinwa, IAS (UP:1999) as Joint Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for the balance period of his overall five year central deputation tenure upto 26.11.2019 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Mr Ali Raja Rizvi, IAS (HP:1988);

(24) Mr Madhu Ranjan Kumar, IRSS (1984) as Secretary (JS Level) in National Commission for Minority Educational Institution (NCMEI) under the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, for a period upto 30.06.2021 i.e. the date of his superannuation, from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Ms. Rita Chatterjee, CSS (SGSL:1994), consequent on completion of her tenure on superannuation on 31.08.2016.
