ACC okays several appointments; Amitabh Kumar, IRS, goes as Jt DG to Shipping

NEW DELHI, AUG 04, 2015: THE Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following :

1. Mr Amitabh Kumar, IRS (IT:87), as Joint DG (JS level), Ministry of Shipping (Mumbai) from the date of assumption the charge of the post for a period of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Mr Deepak Shetty, IRS (C&CE:84).

2. Dr. AJV Prasad, IAS (HP:86), on compulsory wait in the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals until further orders.

3. Mr Samir K Biswas, IAS (MH:90), as Joint Secretary, Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals from the date of assumption of the charge of the post for the balance period of his five years central deputation tenure upto 08.10.2019 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Dr. AJV Prasad, IAS (HP:86).

4. Mr A K Meena, IAS (OR:93), as Joint Secretary, Department of Defence from the date of assumption of the charge of the post for the balance period of his five years central deputation tenure upto 19.04.2016 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Mr Navin Kumar Chaudhary, IAS (JK:94).

5. Ms. Rosy Sharma, (CSS:98), as DDG, CAPART (JS level), Department of Rural Development from the date of assumption of the charge of the post upto her superannuation on 30.09.2018 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Mr M L Meena, IAS (WB:83).

6. Mr Manoj Pant, IFS (JK:86), as Joint Secretary, Department of Health Research from the date of assumption of the charge of the post for the balance period of his five years central deputation tenure upto 05.05.2017 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Mr H Nagesh Prabhu, IFS (KL:84).

7. Ms. Sumita Mukherjee, IRAS (87), as Joint Secretary & Financial Adviser, CSIR, D/o Scientific & Industrial Research from the date of assumption of the charge of the post for a period of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Ms. Anu J. Singh, IRS(IT)(85).

8. Mr Dvijendra Kumar Sharma, IFS (MT:88), as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Panchayati Raj from the date of assumption of the charge of the post for the balance period of his five years central deputation tenure upto 26.01.2017 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Mr Sushil Kumar, IAS (MT:87).
