ACC okays several JS-level Appointments, including that of two IRS officers

NEW DELHI, JUNE 30, 2015: THE Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following appointments: 

(i) Mr Rupak Kumar Dutta, IPS(KTK:81), Additional Director, CBI as Special Director in the CBI. 

(ii) Mr Y.C. Modi, IPS(AM:84) as Additional Director in the CBI. 

(iii) Mr Mohanish Verma, IRS(IT:87), as Protector General of Emigrants (JS Level), Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs from the date of assumption of the charge of the post for a period of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Mr R. Buhril, IAS(TN:84). 

(iv) Mr Rajan Shukla, IAS (UP:88) as Joint Secretary, Department of Consumer Affairs from the date of assumption of the charge of the post for a period of five years or until further orders whichever is earlier, vice Mr Manoj Kumar Parida, IAS(UT:86). 

(v) Mr Shri Krishna, IRS(IT:86) as DDG (JS Level), UIDAI from the date of assumption of the charge of the post for a period of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Mr Sandeep Verma, IAS(RJ:93). 

(vi) Mr Amitabh Gautam, IFS(HP:89), as Joint Secretary, Department of Agriculture & Cooperation from the date of assumption of the charge of the post for a period of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Mr Narendra Bhoosan, IAS(UP:92). 

(vii) Mr Arabinda K. Padhee, IAS(OR:96) as Joint Secretary, Department of Fertilizers from the date of assumption of the charge of the post for a period of five years or until further orders whichever is earlier, vice Mr Shyam Lal Goyal, IAS (MH:85). 

(viii) Ms. V. Vidyawathi, IAS (KN:91) as Joint Secretary, Department of Personnel & Training from the date of assumption of the charge of the post for the balance period of her five year central deputation tenure up to 21.05.2019 or until further orders, whichever is earlier vice Ms. Mamta Kundra, IA&AS(85). 

(ix) Ms. Usha Padhee, IAS( OR:96) as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation from the date of assumption of the charge of the post for a period of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Mr G. Ashok Kumar, IAS(TG:91). 

(x) Ms. Smita Kumar, IPostalS (87) as Joint Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances from the date of assumption of the charge of the post for a period of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Ms.V. Vidyawathi, IAS(KN:91). 

(xi) Mr Parag Gupta, IAS(OR:88) as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Food Processing Industries from the date of assumption of the charge of the post for a period of five years or until further orders whichever is earlier, vice Mr U. Venkateswarlu, IAS(MT:86)
