Ahmedabad Chief Commissioner bags Global Indian Music Award

NEW DELHI, MAR 04, 2015: RECENTLY, at a glittering function, held in Mumbai, Mr Indrajit Dasgupta, Chief Commissioner of Central Excise & Service Tax in Ahmedabad, received the prestigious Global Indian Music Award in Mumbai. GIMA is the only Music Award of National Level, in the country. It is organized by Wizcraft International, who are also the organizers of iifa award. GIMA is the most prestigious platform to honour and applaud talents in Indian Music. Mr Dasgupta got this award for his latest album "Mor Bina", comprising of lively collections of eight Tagore songs.
Mr Indrajit Dasgupta is a singer by passion, though he possesses a B-High gradation. He has got multiple albums to his credit both in Hindi and Bengali. Previously also he received the "Kalakar" award and "Tele Cine award" for his albums.
