ACC goes for major reshuffle of Secretaries

NEW DELHI, FEB 01, 2015: IN a major reshuffle of Secretaries, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet yesterday approved the following appointments:
1. Ms. Gauri Kumar, IAS (GJ:79), Secretary, Ministry of Labour and Employment as Secretary, (Co-ordination & Public Grievances), Cabinet Secretariat vice Mr S.B. Agnihotri, IAS (OR:80).
2. Mr Shankar Agarwal, IAS (UP:80), Secretary, Ministry of Urban Development, as Secretary, Ministry of Labour & Employment vice Ms. Gauri Kumar, IAS (GJ:79), on her relinquishing the charge of the post.
3. Mr Madhusudhan Prasad, IAS (HY:81), Special Secretary, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry as Secretary, Ministry of Urban Development vice Mr Shankar Agarwal, IAS (UP:80), on his relinquishing the charge of the post.
4. Mr Lov Verma, IAS (UP:78), Secretary, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare as Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment in the vacancy of Ms. Stuti Narayan Kacker, IAS (UP:78) (Retired).
5. Ms. Anita Agnihotri, IAS (OR:80), Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation as Secretary, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment vice Mr Sudhir Bhargava, IAS (RJ:79).
6. Ms. Nandita Chatterjee, IAS (WB:80), Member Secretary, National Commission for Women, Ministry of Women and Child Development as Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation vice Ms. Anita Agnihotri, IAS (OR:80), on her relinquishing the charge of the post.
7. Mr Bhanu Pratap Sharma, IAS (BH:81), Establishment Officer and Special Secretary, Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, as Secretary, Department of Health and Family Welfare vice Mr Lov Verma, IAS (UP:78), on his relinquishing the charge of the post.
8. Mr Dinesh Kumar Mittal, IAS (UP:77) (Retired) as Mission Director, Direct Benefits Transfer Scheme for a period of three months from the date of his assuming charge.
