It has been recommended that now onwards, the passengers from the affected countries would be categorized at the airports to be High, Medium and Low risk. High risk passengers would be those with symptoms and they would be admitted to identified health facility. Medium risk would be those passengers with known history of contact with a case of EVD. Such passengers would be tracked by the IDSP in their respective States / UTs. The low risk category would be asymptomatic passengers without any contact history. They would be provided information and they will report to a health facility if symptoms develop.
