Dear esteemed Members, 

It has been brought to our notice that some of you have been receiving emails from email ids ending with suffix @taxindiaonline.com i.e.  taxadmin07@taxindiaonline.com, taxref.adminH1@taxindiaonline.com, etc. having subject similar to “CBDT - Your Income Tax refund is ready” and requesting the mail recipient to follow the link and "Submit refund application".

Please be informed that no such mails are being sent by  Taxindiaonline.com and these are apparently FAKE mails which partake the activity called PHISHING. 

In the interests of our Members and all TIOL Netizens we would like to advise you to ignore such mails or JUNK such email ID so that it does not bother you and cause any loss, financial or otherwise.

Kindly also note that Taxindiaonline.com  uses the email with extension @tiol.in and does not in any way deal with such purported income tax refund claims etc.

Taxindiaonline.com has also registered an FIR with the Delhi Police Cyber Cell bearing DD No. 51B dated 7/9/2016 against such fraudulent emails being circulated.

Being forewarned is forearmed.
